Kali has been running Cross Country for our middle school this year. And she LOVES it! She has been beating her personal best each of the last three meets - yeah Kali! Right now she is running her 5K in just over 27 minutes.

Her friends call her "the Running Toothpick" They run with a combined middle school/high school team, and she is almost the smallest team member. The last few times they moved her up to run with the HS team. One more and she will letter in XC this year. I told her she still had to wait till she is a Sophomore to get her jacket. Maybe by then she won't be shopping in the children's section anymore....

Congratulations on another post!! It's great and Kali is the cutest running toothpick I have ever seen. She even looks speedy in the still photograph. I agree with Elizabeth- I wish I wanted to run cross country, too!

Hey- I just found your blog through Adrianne's site. Good times. I dislike running, but I wish I had gotten into it when I was younger. I probably would have been healthier as a result. Keep posting. Its fun to see what you are up to.
Go Kali!! I don't even wish that I wanted to run cross country. It killed me to run the two miles for field hockey in high school...I think anybody who can run like that is amazing!
Hey Laci, it's your old friend Lauren Layne :) How is it possible that Kali is a freshman? Your kids are so beautiful, I can't believe how much they've grown up! Glad to see you happy and healthy!
